2022-2023 Annual Card Swap #1

As an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, one of the benefits is being able to see and order products from the new catalogs a month earlier than everyone else. Another benefit is that new catalog launch's allow for card swaps with other demos. This card is just one of the cards I made to swap. I used the Nature Prints Bundle (158801), Basic Black card base (121045)-cut to 8.5 x 5.5 folded in half at 4.25. 1st layer is one of the new in colors Parakeet Party(159259) cut to 4x5.25. The next layer is Basic White (159276) cut to 3.75x5. To get the crisp line for my ink blending I used post it tape to mask off the parts of the card I did not want to get any ink on. Then I used 3 of the new in color inks for my ink blending. They are Sweet Sorbet (159216), Tahitian Tide(159210), and parakeet party (159208). Using the ink blending brushes I started with Sweet Sorbet and the moved to Tahitian Tide, slightly over lapping so I can get that hint of purple, then I used Parakeet Party again slightly overlapping to get some more dimension in the colors. I then stamped the image across the area I used to ink blend. On scrap paper is stamped and die cut the leafy images, popped them up on dimensionals and adhered to card. The sentiments came from the Wisteria Wishes bundle(158860). I embellished the card using the new In-Color Opal Rounds (159186) and the new Metallic Woven Ribbon in Parakeet Party (159196).
